Jared Leto's Joker Returning For Zack Snyder's Justice League Cut.

Jared Leto is set to reprise the role in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which is premiering on HBO Max in 2021.

Jared Leto is part of the Justice League reshoots, which are said to be taking place right now. This means that Leto will be shooting new footage for The Snyder Cut. No reports ever surfaced of Jared Leto filming anything back when Zack Snyder initially shot the movie before departing the director's chair.

Leto will be shooting extra work alongside Ben Affleck as Snyder completes some scenes and adds new material to his vision for the superhero team-up.

His involvement further knits together Snyder's "Justice League" with previous DC Comics film "Suicide Squad", which featured Ben Affleck's Batman in a cameo role as he tried to take down Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

It had been speculated that we'd seen the last of Leto's Joker, with Warner Bros. and DC Films subsequently casting Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime for an Oscar-winning performance in last year’s Joker. Previous reports had claimed that Leto had tried to block the Joker movie from being made, and that his "days at the Joker were likely over".
