JOHNNY DEPP's pulled a gender bending switching for his new film BEFORE NIGHT FALLS - and he's loving it.

The SLEEPY HOLLOW hunk plays the dual roles of a military officer and a transvestite in the film, and has spent hours wearing lipstick and learning how to walk in high heels. A crew member on the set says Depp makes a very convincing woman. He says, "During the filming, Johnny walked and talked like a woman. He's a great actor with a tremendous range." (LE/NE/CPT)
