Spock's Ears To Go On The Block

Auction house Christie's Los Angeles outlet is planning to auction four pairs of Vulcan ears that Leonard Nimoy wore when he played Mr. Spock on Star Trek -- as well as the mold that was used to produce the ears. They will be included in a sale of numerous Star Trek artifacts, part of the estate of makeup artist Fred Phillips, due to go on the block on Nov. 15. Other Hollywood memorabilia to be offered at the same auction include two original Energizer Bunnies, a handwritten diary by Errol Flynn that he kept as a volunteer in the Spanish Civil War and handwritten and typed lyrics written by John Lennon for the Plastic Ono Band album.
