The final game of the World Series struck out Thursday night, falling as badly in the ratings as the New York Mets did to the New York Yankees.
Game 5 drew a 14.5 rating and a 22 share for Fox during primetime, clobbered in the 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. hours by NBC's Must-See lineup.
However, the big loser for the night may have been ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which drew a 5.0/8 during the 8:00 p.m. half hour and a 6.1/9 at 8:30, its worst ratings ever.
