Vince McMahon, chairman of the World Wrestling Federation, has accused the Parent's Television Council, associated with L. Brent Bozell's conservative Media Research Council, of lying in its assertions that dozens of companies have pulled their advertising from WWF programs. McMahon says that the group has shown advertisers a list of other companies that have allegedly pulled their spots from the wrestling show. "It's the Big Lie Theory and that's what they're doing, they're lying their way through this thing," McMahon told today's (Tuesday) New York Post. In fact, he said, 25 of the 37 advertisers on their list "have never even advertised with us -- ever." McMahon said he expects the WWF will file suit against the PTC and Bozell as early as this week.
