Movie hunk HARRISON FORD is in trouble with his wife - moving into a hotel just days after he was spotted getting close to LARA FLYNN BOYLE.

The STAR WARS legend, 58, was photographed cozying up to sexy actress Boyle at last month's VH-1/VOGUE FASHION AWARDS (20OCT00) after-party at New York's trendy LOT 61.

Then on Monday (30OCT00), Ford checked into a posh hotel just blocks away from the Central Park West, New York, apartment he shares with his wife MELISSA MATHISON.

The INDIANA JONES star walked into the TRUMP INTERNATIONAL HOTEL wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses and "looking glum". Yesterday (01NOV00), Ford checked out of his room - leaving in a chauffeured car with three large bags and no explanation.

Boyle, who has a predilection for older men, ended a year-long
fling with JACK NICHOLSON in September (00) - and spies on the set of her show THE PRACTICE said since her romantic night out with Ford, she has talked constantly about how "hot" she thinks he is.

Ford and Mathison, the screenwriter of E.T., have been married
for 17 years and have two kids - MALCOLM, 13, and GEORGIA, 10.

Asked why Ford had checked into the hotel, his spokeswoman,
