Daniela Melchior will have a small role in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the highly-anticipated threequel to the beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise.
But as director James Gunn confirmed late last year, the actress won’t be appearing as character Moondragon, which had been speculated online.
Filming recently wrapped on the anticipated threequel, which will star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Sylvester Stallone, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Debicki, Joining them are MCU newcomers Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji, with Poulter confirmed to be playing the role of Adam Warlock.
Portuguese actress Melchior had her Hollywood breakout in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. The star stole our hearts by playing Ratcatcher 2, the emotional core of the film’s team of supervillains, leading her to be one of the most coveted actresses in Hollywood. Last month, the star was cast as part of Fast X, the next installment in the Fast and Furious franchise.
