HOME ALONE child star MACAULAY CULKIN's stint on the London stage seems to have worked a little magic on the actor's troubled marriage.

The 20-year-old actor and his young bride RACHEL MINER, also 20, announced their two year marriage was over earlier this year (00), but now friends claim the couple are in love again and divorce plans have been called off. And apparently, it's all down to the people who usually help wreck marriages - the British press.

Pals claim rave reviews for his performance in MADAME MELVILLE has turned him back into the happy actor Miner fell in love with. A friend says, "Mac has a much more sunny outlook now. He's become much less sullen and introverted."

Meanwhile, Culkin confirms, "Rachel and I are trying to figure out if we can live together day-to-day."
