LATEST: Fresh from splitting with movie star JACK NICHOLSON, TWIN PEAKS star LARA FLYNN BOYLE seems to have her sights set on another big screen hero - HARRISON FORD.

The 30-year-old actress was spotted dining out and enjoying a romantic carriage ride around New York with the 58-year-old STAR WARS actor last week (ends27OCT00). And early word of a romance have been fuelled by the fact that Ford has reportedly checked into a hotel, just blocks away from the apartment he shares with his wife and two children. Meanwhile, Flynn Boyle seems happy to talk about their affair - at last month's (OCT00) VH1/VOGUE FASHION AWARDS in New York, she was overheard telling friends that Harrison is "captivated" by her, and she was swept off her feet by him.

According to friends, the actress has also confided that Harrison has "so much energy." This is the latest threat to Ford's 17-year marriage to screenwriter MELISSA MATHISON. The actor was spotted leaving a nightclub with a raven-haired stunner just last year (99).(KL/NE/CPT)
