Austin Butler Pays Tribute To Lisa Marie Presley After BAFTA Win.

Austin Butler continues to earn accolades for his performance in the film, this time pulling in another big award win. At the BAFTAs on Sunday evening, Butler won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He overcame other strong contenders like Brendan Fraser, Colin Farrell, Daryl McCormack, Paul Mescal, and Bill Nighy.

The "Elvis" star paid tribute to Presley in the winners’ press room after picking up the award for Best Actor.

"It's been a really unimaginably tragic time, you know, and grief is a long process, And so my heart and my love was with the Presley family always. I feel honoured to have been welcomed into the family. It’s a bittersweet time."

All Quiet On The Western Front was the major winner at the 2023 Bafta Film Awards, picking up seven prizes including best film.

The tally means the World War One epic now holds the record for a film not in the English language. The previous record was held by the 1988 Giuseppe Tomatore film ‘Cinema Paradiso’, which won five BAFTAs.

Colin Farrell-starrer ‘The Banshees Of Inisherin’ won the second largest number of awards of the night, including both supporting actor categories with wins for Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon.
