News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch, who recently agreed to buy Chris-Craft's stations for $5.35 billion, said Wednesday that he will recommend that the stations extend their affiliation with UPN, now owned by Viacom. Speaking at Fox Entertainment's annual shareholders meeting in New York, Murdoch also said that he is open to a deal with Viacom for co-ownership of UPN. He did not elaborate.
