Young actor EDWARD FURLONG has returned to the New York party scene - only two days after leaving a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Los Angeles.

The TERMINATOR 2 star attended the party for new American magazine LUCKY on Wednesday night (15NOV00) - with his girlfriend PARIS HILTON - the heiress to the exclusive hotel chain.

However, Furlong reportedly stayed away from alcohol all night at the bash - which was co-hosted by movie director SOFIA COPPOLA. A friends says, "He is not going to bars anymore and has started a new clean life."

However, Furlong's private life is reportedly not so settled. Hilton is allegedly seeing boxer-turned singer OSCAR DE LA HOYA, who, according to America's NEW YORK POST, she first met when Furlong was in the rehabilitation centre. Last week (ends17NOV00), Hilton and De La Hoya met up at the one- year anniversary of the SUNSET ROOM.
