Summer Likely To Go Out With A Whimper

The Labor Day holiday is notorious for producing the smallest box office of any long weekend of the year, and this year is likely to be no exception. New films include Highlander: Endgame, the Irish "troubles" film Titanic Town, and the comedy Whipped. The four-day weekend also will see the expanded release of the British film Saving Grace, which has performed exceedingly well in limited release. When all is said and done, many analysts expect, the holdover film Bring It On will probably maintain its grip on first place.
