The Walt Disney Co., which is seeking to block the merger between America Online and Time Warner, regained access to confidential internal memos of the two companies after setting out for regulators its procedures for ensuring that the documents would not be distributed to unauthorized recipients.
The FCC had suspended Disney's access to the documents early last month when it learned that a lawyer for the law firm representing the company had emailed letters about the documents to Disney execs who had not signed a confidentiality agreement concerning them.
