In a kind of Internet parody of such internationally produced TV reality shows as Survivor and Big Brother, the Norwegian Internet site ABC Startsiden has placed a Webcam in front of a fish tank in the company's Oslo office and has invited Web surfers of vote on which of five fish should be removed from the tank.

The BBC reported Wednesday that the site has already drawn 300,000 visitors. One fish will be eliminated each week until the contest ends on Dec. 8, creators of the site said. Chief editor Ernst Larsen remarked that a fish named Oddvar was the first to go, because, "the fans thought he was making trouble for Klaus the goldfish. He was ganging up on him, and biting his tail."
