MADONNA has fallen prey to a sinful addiction - calorie-laden traditional British sticky toffee pudding.

The MATERIAL GIRL is hooked on a pudding made to a 1,000-year-old village recipe from a tiny bakery in England's Lake District.

She fell for its sweet charms after trying it in posh store HARVEY NICHOLS - and now has it flown across the Atlantic when she's in Los Angeles.

Cook JEAN JOHNS says, "We were astonished to hear Madonna had placed an order with us but she is clearly taken with the puddings because her orders are regular."
