Denzel Washington, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Robert Pattinson have joined the cast of Netflix's new heist thriller feature "Here Comes The Flood".

The feature directed by Academy Award nominee Fernando Meirelles tells the story of a bank guard plotting with a master thief to steal, the rise and fall of his relationship with a bank teller and a series of twists that unveil the con game at the center of it all.

Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria announced the news during the streamer’s Upfronts presentation on Wednesday. The film hails from writer Simon Kinberg, who is also producing the film alongside Audrey Chon for his Genre Films banner, as is Meirelles. Samson Mucke is executive producing.

Also announced at the presentation was Fight For ‘84, a feature based on the true story of the 1984 US Olympics boxing team, with Jamie Foxx starring as the new coach brought in to rebuild the team after a tragic plane crash.

Robert Pattinson got his start in young adult franchise movies, first playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and then taking the role of Edward Cullen in the massively popular Twilight franchise. After the conclusion of Twilight, he has starred in other blockbusters like 2022's The Batman
