The combined results gave NBC a win for the night with a 10.9/16 to ABC's 9.7/15. CBS, with the Martha Stewart's Christmas Dream special, improved on Bette Midler's numbers, grabbing a 7.1/11 for the 8:00 hour. The network wound up in third place for the night with an 8.0/12, followed by Fox with a 5.1/7.
