Cult '70s detectives STARSKY AND HUTCH are back in action - but this time they'll be on opposite sides of the law.

A film based on the television show will see the two crimefighters, played by PAUL MICHAEL GLASER and DAVID SOUL, battling for environmental issues against corrupt big businesses.

Soul, who plays Hutch, says, "Starsky and Hutch obviously can't move as fast, but it would be terrific. We envisage them meeting at the WORLD TRADE ORGANISATION talks, but on either side of the barricades. "Starsky would be a private security officer for a major corporation coming into town. I would be with the environmentalists. A woman would have separated them all those years ago.
