Radio, TV Classics To Be Available On The Web

Segments from thousands of television shows archived at the Museum of Broadcasting in New York and Beverly Hills will be available on the Internet beginning next year, the New York Post reported today (Wednesday).

Among the material housed at the museums is the pilot episode of Seinfeld, Yankee pitcher Don Larsen's 1956 perfect game at the World Series, and the first hours of MTV.

Museum president Robert Batscha told the Post that the archived material will at first feature only about 200 shows, "And then we're going to add on a weekly basis. Over time, we eventually hope to have a clip for every program in our collection."
