Van Dyke Forecasts That Diagnosis Murder Will Die

Dick Van Dyke's diagnosis of the future of Diagnosis Murder is that it won't be back next season. "I think it's probably run its course," he told today's (Tuesday) New York Post. "CBS cut our budget and we had to shoot the shows in six days instead of seven. They've tried their best to kill us off." In fact, Van Dyke told the newspaper, the writers are trying to come up with "something fun" for the final episode. "Perhaps we'll have a murder on the set of Diagnosis Murder where we play ourselves," he said.
