LOURDES MAKES PEOPLE CRY AT MUM'S WEDDING Guests at MADONNA's Scottish wedding were moved to tears when they saw LOURDES sprinkling rose petals.

The four-year-old, dressed in a long high-necked ivory gown, designed by STELLA McCARTNEY, scattered the petals at her mother's feet as the pop superstar descended down a staircase at Dornoch Cathedral in Scotland last week (22DEC00).

And guests are now beginning to talk about the highlight of the ceremony, which saw Madonna also dressed in strapless ivory gown with a fitted corset, long train and a veil made from 19th century lace - also designed by the daughter of BEATLE PAUL McCartney.

An unnamed family guest at the wedding has told American showbusiness bible PEOPLE WEEKLY, "The staircase was adorned with orchids and Lourdes proceeded her mother scattering rose petals from a basket. "As soon as they saw Lourdes throwing rose petals people were crying."
