Cincinnati Country Day School, an exclusive private school that is mentioned in the new movie Traffic, is threatening to sue the producers and USA Films for allegedly using the name of the school without permission.
"We are outraged," headmaster Charles Clark told the Scripps Howard News Service Wednesday. ""When a school name is used in reference to society's vices -- in this case, drug use and abuse -- it can only have a damaging effect on the school."
A character in the movie is a drug-addicted student who attends the school. "That links drugs with our school," Clark remarked. A spokeswoman for USA Films declined to comment on the headmaster's complaint, saying only that the company is "looking into the whole situation."
