Clinton To Honour Dame Elizabeth

DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR is to receive a medal from BILL CLINTON for answering "America's highest calling" of service to the country.

The London-born film star is one of 28 Americans, including boxing legend MUHAMMAD ALI, being presented with the PRESIDENTIAL CITIZENS MEDAL on Monday (08JAN01) during a ceremony at the WHITE HOUSE in Washington DC.
