Preparing to sell or swap its 22.7-percent stake in BSkyB, which is controlled by News Corp, Vivendi Universal on Wednesday said that its representative on the board of the satellite broadcaster had resigned. Vivendi Universal has agreed to conditions imposed by the European Commission at the time of the Vivendi-Seagram merger to divest itself of its BSkyB stake within two years.
