Skip Caray has been called up to the big leagues to act as a reliever for NBC's Bob Costas during the National League playoffs. Costas will be in Sydney for the Olympics. Caray is a longtime fixture at Turner Sports, which will also provide production crew for the baseball telecasts while NBC's regular crew is occupied in Sydney. He has been the voice of the Atlanta Braves and the Hawks for Turner since 1976 and has also had a stint as a commentator for Fox. He is the son of legendary baseball announcer Harry Caray who died in 1998.
