LATEST: After weeks of speculation bad boy rapper PUFF DADDY and Latino singer JENNIFER LOPEZ have finally admitted that they have split up.

Lopez, 30, has been linked to one of her backing dancers and Puff Daddy - real name SEAN COMBS - has been accused of indulging in phone sex with a stripper.

NATHALIE MOAR, a spokesman for Combs, says, "Mr Combs confirmed that he and his love Jennifer Lopez have in fact broken up. Mr Combs is confirming this today as he wanted to put all the rumours surrounding their relationship to rest. At this difficult time we ask that you respect his privacy."

ALAN NEIROB, Lopez's spokesman, said THAT he could not confirm or deny that the romance was over although he noted the source of the information. Combs is currently on trial for gun possession and bribery in New York City stemming from a 1999 nightclub brawl in which three people were shot. He faces 15 years in prison if convicted of the gun charge. Lopez, who was with Combs the night of the altercation, was not charged. (PDD/WNWCYA)
