GEORGE CLOONEY's romance with underwear model LISA SNOWDON is flourishing after getting the approval of his pet pig MAX.

The sexy former ER star has told pals that one of the reasons he's so smitten with the British model is because she's bonded so well with Max. The actor has told pals, "I trust Max's judgement when it comes to the women in my life. "That's how Lisa's still around. Max has never taken to anyone the way he's taken to Lisa. He loves her as much as I do."

Snowdon, 25, who was shocked to find the porker has free reign in Clooney's Los Angeles mansion - including his bedroom - says, "It's love me and you have to love my pig. It's the reason I bonded with Max in such a hurry." Now whenever Clooney calls his lover in England, he puts Max on the phone for a chat. "I can hear him grunting. It's not hard to love Max."
