Puny ratings for NBA basketball on Sunday pushed NBC to the bottom of the ratings list for the night. ABC won it with a 9.8 rating and a 15 share as The Practice, in the 10:00 p.m. hour, produced the best numbers for the night (12.9/21) CBS was in second place with a 9.7/15 thanks to a strong showing by 60 Minutes (11.3/20). Fox finished third with a 7.9/12, followed by NBC with a 5.8/9. (NBC's NBA coverage in the 7:00 p.m. hour drew a dismal 3.5/6.)
