Ricky Martin Set To Star In Political Thriller
RICKY MARTIN is set to make his film debut in a political action thriller.
The Latino hunk is in talks to star alongside ED HARRIS, JAMES COBURN and ANTHONY QUINN in THE ASSASSINATION. The film is based on real-life events surrounding the assassination of Dominican Republic dictator RAFAEL TRUJILLO, with the singer playing heroic revolutionary TAVITO DE LA MAZA.
Martin has already agreed to perform the title song to the movie and to contribute to the soundtrack. The Assassination is due to begin filming in April (01). (RP/WNWCAN/KW)
