British actor CHRISTIAN BALE had to have his teeth cosmetically enhanced for his recent role as handsome serial killer PATRICK BATEMAN in the chilling blockbuster AMERICAN PSYCHO - because he hadn't been to the dentists for eight years. He confesses, "I realised that I was going to have something done because, being British, we are not famous for our dental hygiene and I had not been to the dentist in eight years."
