Hollywood hunk BEN AFFLECK is sick of being perceived as full of confidence - he's really just a timid lad.

The GOOD WILL HUNTING star insists his confidence on screen comes from his skill as an actor and in no way resembles his real-life character.

He says, "I'm always described as `cocksure' or `with a swagger' and that bears no resemblance to who I feel like inside.
