Harrison Ford Justifies Fee

HARRISON FORD has ridiculed reports that he's been paid $25 million (£17 million) for 20 days' work in his latest movie.

While acknowledging he will receive that amount of cash for his role in K19: THE WIDOWMAKER, the Hollywood heavyweight points out he's spent months working on the script and casting. The star's spokeswoman, PATRICIA MCQUEENEY, says, "The shoot is four-and-a-half months long and he's working every day."

The film, based on the true events of a 1961 Russian submarine disaster, has angered the remaining survivors of K-19, who claim they are represented as "technically ignorant drunken morons." (KW/WNWCCB/RP)
