ANGELINA JOLIE and BILLY BOB THORNTON's wild days are over - they've resorted to a happy middle-aged life of early nights, videos and frozen yoghurt.

Sexy actress Jolie, who by her own admission used to lead a very unhealthy lifestyle, living on cigarettes, alcohol and junk food, had to shape up for her latest role as LARA CROFT in the forthcoming TOMB RAIDER movie.

She admits, "I smoked a lot, drank far too much, suffered from insomnia and like every other normal person I know, I was imbalanced. I had to undergo a complete re-adjustment, living on water and vitamins."

And after Thornton's health scare late last year (OCT00), when he was admitted to hospital with a viral infection, the GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS actress is taking no chances - insisting both she and her husband stick to her new healthy living regime.

The showbiz couple prepared for a recent romantic evening in by buying a large tub of healthy frozen yoghurt, before calling in at their local video store. Looking relaxed and happy to be together after months of conflicting work schedules, the pair hugged and kissed as they perused the aisles of the video shop.

One onlooker says, "They were all over each other, kissing and smooching at the checkout. They went down to the dirty movie section but they ended up just getting out a couple of comedies." The couple rented the JOHN CANDY comedy CANADIAN BACON and the CHRISTOPHER GUEST movie WAITING FOR GUFFMAN. (SVD/WN/CPT)
