JOHN CUSACK looks set to star in a remake of an old BURT LANCASTER film. Cusack will act in and produce SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS (1957).

The original version of the film was released in 1957 and starred bisexual Lancaster and TONY CURTIS.

The new version of the film will tell the story of a press agent hired by the most powerful newspaper gossip columnist to prevent his sister from marrying a jazz musician. There has been no confirmation on who will direct the film. (PDD/WNWCAN)
