Good Intelligence About A.I

JUDE LAW has dropped a few hints about his top-secret new movie A. I. - it looks set to be incredibly romantic. The project was the brainchild of late cult director STANLEY KUBRICK, and was adopted by STEVEN SPIELBERG after Kubrick's death.

Spielberg has followed Kubrick's movie-making style, and preserved total secrecy about the film. The movie focuses on the artificial intelligence of a boy robot, played by SIXTH SENSE, the (1999) star HALEY JOEL OSMENT, who longs to be human.

Law co-stars as an android who exists only to bring physical pleasure to humans. talented Mr. Ripley, The (1999) hunk explains, "He's very good at his job. Steven wanted me to wash myself in really romantic things - GENE KELLY, RUDOLPH VALENTINO. The way I walked, the way I sat down - everything had a rhythm. "I just indulged myself, steeped myself in that. "

He adds, "
It's not a prediction of what's to come - Kubrick was very clear about that. He always called it a future fairy tale. The message, perhaps, is that if we do create artificial life, we will be responsible for them, we will be their gods. We will choose what they have, what they're good at. But the one thing we can't program is love. Love is untranslatable. " (NFA/WNWCDN/ES)
