Actress MEG RYAN helped a paparazzo who fell while pursuing the star in New York.

The petite 39-year-old, currently filming KATE & LEOPOLD (2002), showed genuine concern for the snapper.

Meg asked, "Are you all right?" to which the photographer replied, "I'm fine. " But added, "I wouldn't have tripped if you had stopped to pose for a picture. Will you pose for me now?" Meg however declined and fled in a waiting car. (KMW/WNTEX/ES)
