Actor COLIN FARRELL nearly missed his audition for Vietnam war movie TIGERLAND (2000) - because he arrived late.
The Irish hunk flew from Dublin to London, only to find he had missed his casting session with director JOEL SCHUMACHER. He says, "I nearly missed him, I was two minutes late, and he had something better to do, like shopping! He had his coat on, and was leaving the hotel. I just caught him in time. "(KMW/WNSE/RP)
