FAT LES frontman KEITH ALLEN is flying to Madrid on Sunday (17SEPT00) to begin work on a film with Hollywood megastar NICOLE KIDMAN.

The VINDALOO" hitmaker is putting his musical collaborations with BLUR'S ALEX JAMES and famed artist DAMIEN HIRST temporarily on hold to concentrate on his burgeoning film career.

Allen will play a 'nice guy' in 'OTHERS' - a film based on one woman's relationship with her children during WORLD WAR TWO.

Kidman - whose father purchased the rights of the film for his daughter - will be playing the lead role - and Allen is relishing the thought of playing opposite the stunning Australian actress.

He says, "I'm excited about this project - it's going to be a really great film.

"I'm really looking forward to spending a couple of months in Madrid with Nicole - who wouldn't?"
