URSULA ANDRESS has been voted the sexiest BOND girl ever, 39 years after she starred in DR. NO (1962)

Film fans decided the shot of Andress emerging from the sea wearing a white bikini and carrying commando knife in the first 007 movie set a standard that all other Bond girls have failed to live up to.

In the survey, conducted by movie magazine HOTDOG, Andress emerged a clear winner, beating off her sexy competitors to take first place.

Runner up was RINGO STARR's wife BARBARA BACH, for her role as sultry Soviet agent MAJOR ANYA AMOSAOVA in SPY WHO LOVED ME, the (1977). In the number three spot was DENISE RICHARDS, who starred alongside PIERCE BROSNAN's Bond in the latest 007 movie WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, the (1999). (LE/WNTEX/PDD)
