Academy Sets New Oscar Rules

Hollywood studio executives face disappointment at next year's OSCAR ceremony - because only those actually involved in the making of an award-winning film will be allowed onstage.

The ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES set the new rule on Friday, and crushed many executive's dreams of accepting a trophy in the process.

Academy director BRUCE DAVIS says, "The Academy makes the ultimate determination of who its nominees are. " (ACW/WNWCHL/KW)
