Law Reveals Dream Role

British actor JUDE LAW wants nothing more than to play DR FAUSTUS - and he's on the verge of realising his dream. The A.I.: Artificial Intelligence (2001) star has the pick of big-budget movie roles after finding success with such films as Existenz (1999) and talented mr. Ripley, The (1999) - but he'd rather take on the role of CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE's stage creation from the 1604 play of the same name.

Jude says, "There's a role I'm in the process of putting together, which is to do Dr Faustus. I'm working with a very exciting writer but I can't say who it is yet. We're going to do that on stage sometime next year which is very exciting. "

And Jude is equally sure of the role he'd have liked to take on in real life, if his dream of becoming an actor hadn't been fulfilled. He explains,

"I'd actually love to be a sportsman but I just don't have the physical skill or the natural ability. " (ACW/WNHET/KW)
