ANTONIO BANDERAS has fired back at reports his marriage to MELANIE GRIFFITH is in trouble by insisting he still feels like they're having an affair.

The couple, who wed in London in 1996, have been dogged by reports their romance is on the rocks following unsubstantiated claims she's jealous of his trips to see strippers in Las Vegas and talk of an on-set romance with ANGELINA JOLIE in new film ORIGINAL SIN (2001).

But the sexy Spaniard insists their relationship, which began as an affair when both were married to other people, is as strong as ever.

He says, "Our relationship at the beginning was an affair. We're probably one of the longest affairs in Hollywood history. She fills all the expectations I have in life. She gave me her love and a beautiful family. I don't need anything else, I'm a happy man. " (KL/WNV/MCM)
