Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has scheduled hearings in Washington Wednesday on violence in the media.

The online edition of Broadcasting and Cable said that the witnesses will include Jack Valenti of the Motion Picture Association of America, Hillary Rosen of the Recording Industry Association and Doug Lowenstein of the Interactive Digital Software Association.
