TOM HANKS puts the success of his marriage down to good old family values.

The CAST AWAY (2000) actor admits he didn't model his marriage on any experiences he's had, but when he met his wife RITA WILSON he was taken by her way of doing things.

He says, "I married into a classic old-world family structure in which people like to spend time with each other and construct their lives so they can. That hadn't been part of my existence up until then. And you know what? In the 13 years Rita and I have been married, I've discovered there's no substitute for that.
