Hollywood hardman JACKIE CHAN was left "crying uncontrollably" after seeing the carnage at New York's WORLD TRADE CENTER. The martial arts star of RUSH HOUR 2 (2001) had been due to film scenes for new movie NOSEBLEED at the disaster scene - but his script was late and the shoot was put off.

He says, "I would probably have died if the shooting had gone ahead. " The high-kicking actor was due to play a window cleaner working on the Twin Towers in the film, which has now reportedly been rewritten. (AH/WNTST/BRC)
