British movie maker GUY RITCHIE is determined his little boy ROCCO receives the benefit of a good English education.

His MATERIAL GIRL mother MADONNA is keen to keep strong roots in America, having just bought a new home in Beverly Hills, and being quietly keen to introduce her boyfriend Ritchie to New York.

But she's resigned to the fact that Ritchie has very strong feelings about Rocco's education and is happy if necessary, to let him grow up in the United Kingdom. She says, "I'm sure we'll be going back and forth a lot. Guy really wants his son to have an English education, so we'll see what happens. "And I intend to slowly work New York into Guy's repertoire. But it was hard enough getting him to come to L.A. So one thing at a time."
