Chan Injured In A Series Of Accidents
Martial arts superstar Jackie Chan is recovering after suffering a minor facial injury while performing a stunt on the set of his latest movie Highbinders (2002) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 47-year-old actor was sent to a hospital and returned to the set four hours later. Chan is the third high-profile star to suffer at the hands of film stunts in the past two weeks.
Last week (ends15th February 2002), Xena: Warrior Princess star Kevin Smith was killed in a fall on the set of his new movie in Beijing, China, and Pierce Brosnan has been forced to pull out of James Bond 20 (2002), his fourth 007 adventure, for two weeks after injuring his knee in a water stunt.
