PAMELA ANDERSON is to tie the knot with model MARCUS SCHENKENBERG - after the romantic heart throb slipped an engagement ring into her champagne glass as he popped the question.

According to American tabloid THE GLOBE, the former BAYWATCH babe, who divorced MOTELY CRUE rocker TOMMY LEE two years ago (98), didn't hesitate in accepting - cementing the coupling by buying her husband-to-be a $75,000 (£50,000) DODGE VIPER sports car.

And friends believe 32-year-old Schenkenberg, who models for CALVIN KLEIN, VERSACE and VALENTINO, will be a better influence on Anderson than hell-raising Lee who has admitted he beat and abused the curvy blonde.

And although Anderson has vowed Lee will always be involved with their two young sons, BRANDON and DYLAN, she's more than ready to walk down the aisle with Schenkenberg - and is even considering having more children. She says, "Will there be wedding bells? You betcha! I'm so happy!"
