After four years away from home the Grammy Awards may return to New York.
President of the Recording Academy Michael Green moved the star-studded ceremony from the Big Apple to Los Angeles after a dispute with former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani in 1999.
According to reports, Giuliani's successor Michael Bloomberg has invited the academy to host the 2003 awards in Manhattan.
If the Grammys are to move to the east coast, it will give New
York a much needed economic boost as it is still recovering from
the 11 September (2001) atrocities.
